Brendan Carroll | Senior Vice President of Research

Brendan directs the research activities of Richards Barry Joyce & Partnerswhich principally consists of the publication of the most complete line of research publications in the Greater Boston market. He is credited with continually creating unique metrics and types of analysis to understand market activity and publishes the firm’s popular bioSTATus report.

Prior to entering the real estate industry in 2003, he worked for FAC/Equities, an investment banking firm providing a diverse array of advisory services to clients in numerous industries, and was an active participant in high tech investment banking during the 1998 to 2000 “tech boom.” He has been able to effectively transition the ability to identify trends and make predictions from the equity asset environment into the real estate asset environment. This unique perspective has made Brendan a dynamic resource for numerous industry participants, and his “Market Interesting” stories that appear in his quarterly reports have gained interest at the national level, in The Wall Street Journal and in other publications.

Brendan graduated magna cum laude from Boston College.
