Brian Cohen
Vice President of Consulting Services

Brian is responsible for Richards Barry Joyce & Partners’ Consulting Services practice, which delivers strategic real estate decision support to the firm’s corporate clients.  He specializes in counseling clients on issues related to site location and real estate portfolio strategy.  Brian’s consulting experience includes headquarters optimization, back office location and industrial and office portfolio strategy.

Prior to joining RBJ, Brian was associate director in Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Business Consulting practice, where he advised some of C&W’s most sophisticated clients on matters of facility location and real estate portfolio planning.  His client engagements range in scale from advising a small start-up on where to locate its first U.S. manufacturing facility, to helping a mature, $25B company develop a long term acquisition and disposition strategy for its three million square foot office portfolio.

Brian holds an M.B.A. from the George Washington University with a B.S. from the University of Rhode Island.  Prior to returning to business school, he spent two years in land development consulting focusing on zoning and entitlements issues in the southwestern U.S.   Brian is a member of the Urban Land Institute and is active in CoreNet Global.

You may reach Brian at bcohen@rbjrealestate.com.
