Brian Cohen | Vice President of Consulting Services
|
Brian is responsible for Richards Barry Joyce & Partners’ Consulting Services practice, which delivers strategic real estate decision support to the firm’s corporate clients. He specializes in counseling clients on issues related to site location and real estate portfolio strategy. Brian’s consulting experience includes headquarters and back office location optimization, as well as real estate portfolio strategy.
From advising a start-up clean-tech company on where to locate a pilot plant operation, to helping a global pharmaceutical company locate a commercial scale manufacturing facility, to assisting a mature financial services firm in the development of a long term real estate strategy, Brian’s client engagements vary widely in scope and scale. In his role at RBJ, Brian is charged with bridging the gap between real estate decisions and the business strategy and operational requirements that the real estate must ultimately support. Working closely with our clients’ human resources, operations, finance and real estate executives, Brian ensures that real estate decisions are approached with a careful understanding of the underlying business drivers.
Brian came to RBJ from Cushman & Wakefield, where he was an associate director in the Global Business Consulting practice. He holds an M.B.A. from the George Washington University with a B.S. from the University of Rhode Island. Prior to returning to business school, he spent two years in land development consulting focusing on zoning and entitlements issues in the southwestern U.S. Brian is active in CoreNet Global and in MassEcon, where he will serve on the Board of Directors in 2010.
You may reach Brian at bcohen@rbjrealestate.com.
