John
Lashar |
John is a member of Richards Barry Joyce & Partners’ Suburban leasing group, where he specializes in tenant and landlord advisory work. In John's twelve years of commercial real estate experience he has leased and sold in excess of 9 million square feet of office, R&D, and industrial space in the Greater Boston suburban market. Prior to joining Richards Barry Joyce & Partners, John was a senior director at Cushman and Wakefield, Inc.
In addition to representing several area startup companies, John has recently negotiated two build to suit transactions totaling 330,000 square feet on behalf of Capital One Corporation and Dunkin’ Donuts Northeast Distribution Center, Inc. In 2003 he represented the tenant one of the largest direct office leases in the 495 West submarket – a ten year lease of 102,000 square feet. In 2004 and 2005, he represented two major speculative industrial development projects totaling 471,000 square feet.
Other recent accomplishments include being named one of Commercial Property News’ National “Hot Brokers” in 2005; being named a CoStar Top Power Broker in 2003 and 2004; and receiving Cushman & Wakefield's "New England Deal of the Year" award in 1998 and 2000 and their "Top 100 National Ranking" in 2000. John has also achieved the CBA’s Multi Million Dollar Leasing Club Platinum Level for five years.
John graduated from Babson College with a Bachelor of Science in 1993. He is a member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board.
