Jay Nugent
Vice President

Jay is a member of Richards Barry Joyce & Partners’ Suburban leasing group, where he specializes in tenant and landlord advisory work. Prior to joining RBJ, Jay was an Assistant Vice President at Jones Lang LaSalle. He has also worked at the Grubb & Ellis Company.

Jay counsels landlords and tenants in the Greater Boston suburban area. In the last six years he has been involved in the lease and sale of over four million square feet of space for his clients. He has represented tenant organizations such as Comcast Corporation, MRO Software, GPC Biotech, Kurzweil Educational Systems and Cato Research. He has also represented some of the area’s most prominent landlords such as ING Clarion, Normandy RE Partners and Saracen Properties.

Jay graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Political Science and a minor in Pre-Law. He is a member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board and volunteers his time with Big Brothers of Massachusetts, which is a non-profit organization that provides nurturing and direction to young children in need of role models.
