John is a member of Richards Barry Joyce & Partners’ Suburban leasing group. Prior to co-founding Richards Barry Joyce & Partners in July of 2001, John was a managing director at Insignia/ESG where he worked in the Suburban division, focusing on the leasing and sale of office, R&D and industrial facilities. John has worked for the last 15 years as a commercial real estate advisor servicing the tenant and landlord community throughout suburban Boston.
John was the Regional Broker of the year for 2000 for Insignia/ESG. Over the last five years he has leased and sold more than 7 million square feet of space in suburban Boston. He manages RBJ’s corporate facilities group, which provides property management, lease administration and property accounting. Other recent accomplishments include representing tenants in the completion of four corporate build-to-suit transactions.
John graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a B.A. and spent five years working in property management before becoming a commercial real estate broker. He is a member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board and is active with the Beacon Hill Civic Association and the Duxbury Ocean Racing Circuit.
